SPILLSTOP Leak Containment systems are designed to prevent costly and hazardous spills when AODD pump diaphragms fail. Stop the spill before it happens.
Wherever AODD pumps are used, there is a possibility of pump diaphragm failure, which results in process fluid being expelled into the environment through the air exhaust port. Spills can result in lost product, hazardous material cleanup, and risk to personnel.
Blacoh’s pneumatically operated SPILLSTOP leak containment system is designed to capture leaked product and shut down failed pumps. When attached directly to the exhaust of an AODD pump, the SPILLSTOP system’s internal receptacle captures any liquid that is expelled from the air exhaust of an AODD pump as a result of diaphragm failure. The pump is shut off when the contained fluid raises a float switch, and an optional feature triggers an alarm or causes a standby pump to be activated.
