Carotek’s valve automation center creates assemblies in our facilities that significantly save you time in the field.

All valve assemblies are functionally tested before shipment (both pneumatic and electric)
All valve assemblies are inspected and verified via QA check-out form prior to shipment
All valve assemblies are serialized and tagged before shipment
Assembly drawings, Actuator sizing proofs, and Data sheets are available upon request
Work is completed by full time automation assemblers and specialists
One ton crane for large valves and actuator assemblies
Ability to assemble valve systems from ½” – 48”

VALVE AUTOMATION QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTING

Carotek provides first class, high performing, quality valve assemblies. How do we do it? The Carotek Valve Automation Shop function tests every valve assembly before it leaves our shop. Here are the steps we take.

A peer review and quality checklist are performed to ensure proper configuration.
Carotek utilizes a custom built valve test stand to validate the seating performance of control valve assemblies.
Control valve assemblies must comply with factory mandated and industry standards for allowable seat leakage.
The valve test stand is also capable of performing hydrostatic testing (up to 1200 psi) as needed.
For control valves with Logix digital positioners, Carotek uses Flowserve’s powerful ValveSight software for benchmarking the health of the valve and providing meaningful diagnostic reports about the valve’s performance.
