Maintenance and Repair Kits

Always use authentic Griswold Maintenance Kits and Repair Kits when maintaining Griswold pumps to prolong optimal performance and preserve Griswold factory warranties. Containing only genuine Griswold parts, each kit has been designed to simplify ordering while streamlining maintenance and repair.

Maintenance Kit includes: Casing Gasket, Frame to Adapter Gasket, Bearing Lockwasher, Impeller O-Ring, Bearing Housing O-Ring and Labyrinth Seal O-Rings

Repair Kit includes: Maintenance Kit items plus Lantern Ring, Thrust Bearing, Bearing Locknut, Radial Bearing and Bearing Housing Retaining Ring

Pump Rotating Assemblies

Griswold rotating assemblies for the 811 ANSI Series come preassembled with the shaft, inboard and outboard bearing, bearing housing, labyrinth seals, and miscellaneous parts in one package. All components are inspected and assembled to strict OEM standards in a clean room to ensure long life and trouble-free operation. Bearings are installed utilizing bearing induction heaters, eliminating stress caused by pressing bearings on and off. Griswold rotating assemblies also allow power frames to be rebuilt with new components in less time. It only takes three bolts to remove and the old rotating assembly, which easily comes out to be replaced with a brand new rotating assembly.

Griswold rotating assemblies are available for 811S, 811M, 811L or 811XL power frames, with your choice of shaft configuration (sleeved design or solid shaft) and, of course, interchangeable with hundreds of thousands of pumps in use today.

Griswold ® 811 ANSI Series Part-for-Part Interchangeability

When your pump goes down, it's important to get the genuine and reliable parts you need to quickly get back into production. At Griswold® , our distribution channel and authorized service centers are equipped to provide you the parts required to get you back up and running.

Griswold 811 ANSI Series parts are interchangeable with *Goulds 3196 pump in equivalent sizes and with Goulds 3796 and 3996 pumps for many of the key parts. Impellers, stuffing box covers, packing glands, and shaft sleeves are just a few of the many components that are interchangeable.

Pump Power Frames

Griswold 811 ANSI Series power frames are your cost-effective solution to getting a completely new frame for what it might cost you to put new parts into your old frame. And best of all, Griswold backs our 811 ANSI Series power frames with a 5-year warranty against material and workmanship from the date of manufacture. These 811 ANSI Series power frames feature larger shafts for improved pump reliability, bearings designed for long life, and many other design features.

Heavy-Duty Shaft and Bearings

Engineered to minimize vibration and shaft deflection (less than 0.002” per ANSI/ASME B73.1) to optimize pump life. Sleeved and solid shaft available in a variety of materials. Bearings sized for 10-year life expectancy under tough operating conditions.

External Clearance Adjustment

Designed to maintain original flow, pressure and efficiency, minimizing energy consumption and repairs while extending mean time between repairs (MTBR).

Over-Sized Fill Plug

Extra-large NPT oil fill plug provided to simplify the lubrication process.

Extra-Large Capacity Powder-Coated Oil Sump

Maximized oil capacity delivers improved heat transfer and oil temperature, greatly extending bearing life. Designed to accommodate optional fin coolers for high-temperature applications. Impenetrable fusion bonded epoxy coating on interior surface extends quality, cleanliness and longevity of the lubricating oil.

Labyrinth Seals Standard 

INPRO ® oil seals keep outside contaminants from lubrication media, significantly extending bearing life. Standard in bronze. Carbon-filled PTFE and magnetic face seals optional.

Magnetic Drain Plug

Collects damaging metallic contaminants away from the bearings.

Monitoring Locations

Each power frame is machined with condition monitoring sites for consistent monitoring of vibration and temperature.

Large 1" Sight Glass

The large, reflective sight glass simplifies the job of monitoring the oil condition and level to ensure proper lubrication. Bottle oiler available as an option.
