Grundfos offers the CR series of vertical multistage water pumps that are ideal for water pumping applications offering high discharge pressures in a compact design. Hot water, cold water, city water, condensate, cooling water, chilled water all benefit from this CR pump.
This new generation of Grundfos CR has been designed for maximum energy efficiency and performance across the board. From the simulation driven development of superior hydraulics to little innovations like profiling the leading edges of vanes and introducing a flow-guiding system to eliminate eddies and turbulence.
The outcome is a pump range that offers truly world-class energy efficiency, beating its already outstanding forerunners out of the blocks.
The CR product line incorporates numerous features:
- Low NPSH impeller option
- Multiple materials of construction
- Cartridge seal for simple replacement
- High pressure output
- Integral VFD/controller option
- High efficiency design
The CR pump is built from cast iron with all wetted parts made of AISI 304 grade stainless steel, making this pump suitable for non-corrosive liquids. With world-class efficiency, flows up to 320 m3/h and 40 bar working pressure, the CR is the perfect virtical centrifugal pump for a range of demanding applications, such as liquid transfer, circulation and pressure boosting of cold or hot water, aqua-farming and field irrigation.
Tight controls over every aspect of the production process are the secret behind the reliability of the vertical centrifugal pump CR. Grundfos production is certified in accordance with the strictest international standards (ISO 9001) and is subjected to rigorous process control. Each CR pump is tested for performance, power consumption and static pressure before leaving the factory.
A number of ATEX-approved CRN pumps are available, according to the locality, hazard and likelihood of a dangerous situation occurring. ATEX-approved pumps are for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Explosive atmospheres consist of air and combustible matter such as gases, vapours, mist or dusts in which the explosion spreads after ignition.
With 16 flow sizes and hundreds of pressure sizes to choose from, you can be sure that there is a pump to match your job requirement.
A wide range of connection types and flange sizes to choose from means the pump can be connected to any system.
Very long-lived bearings, thanks to hardwearing materials and a wide range of options for difficult liquids.
